Paychex uses API Wizard across the organization to streamline many different Oracle data processing transactions, including Incentive Compensation setup and transactions, AP Invoices, Vendor Creation, New Hires, Purchasing. Rackspace improves customer service by using API Wizard to simplify a range of Oracle business processes.
A specific example is the creation and updating of Oracle Service Contracts. Before API Wizard, this was a time-consuming, manual process that frustrated people, slowed response times, produced data entry errors, and made the service contract team regularly dependent on I.T. for technical assistance.

Oce' started with API Wizard in 2011 to help reduce the time required to complete period-end processing as part of its 'Fast Close' initiative. Key processes performed in API Wizard include AP Invoices, AR Invoices, Fixed Asset entry and maintenance, and journal entries. The successful initiative reduced period close processing from 10 days to 3. Oce' realized a full ROI on their API Wizard investment within the first 30 days.
From there, API Wizard grew organically into other areas of the business including sales commission entry and adjustments, order entry, price list maintenance, several custom processes, and reporting in multiple functional areas.

Cablevision needed a better way to track its inventory of items and perform transactions such as performing miscellaneous transactions (receipt and issues), item updates, item category updates, item cross reference, and item mfg part management. Replacing the existing manual process with API Wizard saved over 5000 hours per year just on item maintenance and management.
Cablevision also uses API Wizard for reporting, including a critical Serial Number location report, which allows users to enter any number of item serial numbers (typically dozens or hundreds) in an Excel column and the report will automatically find the location and assignment of that item by populating the adjacent three columns for each row. Prior to this solution, Cablevision had to look these items up one at a time through the Oracle forms which was incredibly tedious.

NYHCC maintains a massive inventory of medical devices, supplies, and peripherals that required a full team to manage using standard Oracle EBS forms. IT was often called upon by the business to help with many tasks related to item maintenance because of the overwhelming volume of data processing work required, yet even their 50-person Oracle EBS IT team was frequently inundated with Oracle data entry and update requirements. The IT team created scripts for performing different transactions against Oracle APIs and also leveraged tools like Data Loader to try to help get mission critical business processing completed.
API Wizard greatly reduced the strain placed on both the business and I.T. by providing ready-to-go solutions for inventory management and supply chain processing which allowed them to perform key tasks with considerably less effort, including item entry and maintenance, item subinventory processing, item transactions, requisition entry, purchase order entry, supplier entry and maintenance, and more.
