In this session, we cover the ways that API Wizard adds value to IT Professionals, the IT Team, and the organization.
Webinar content:
1) Introduction and example of using API Wizard
This session starts with an introduction to using API Wizard for data entry, update, and reporting. API Wizard is used in this manner by both business users and IT users. Typical IT uses include creating and inactivating users, password resets, creating and inactivating responsibilities, and more.
2) Modifying existing Loaders and Reports
API Wizard has hundreds of prebuilt Loaders. These Loaders can be easily modified by IT resources to more precisely meet the business' requirements. Examples include adding and removing parameters, re-ordering parameters, modifying reports, and more.
3) Creating new Loaders and Reports
In addition to our extensive prebuilt content, API Wizard customers can use our GUI integrated development environment to rapidly create Loaders and reports for any process that API Wizard does not have, including for custom processes and data in custom tables. In the webinar, we will show how quick and easy it is to create a new Loader and extraction report when working with a custom table.
4) API Wizard Administration
In addition to following Oracle EBS security, including user credentials, responsibilities, MOAC, HR Security Rules, etc., API Wizard provides an additional level of control over who can do what within the tool. In this section, we will discuss the control that IT has with API Wizard around access.
5) API Wizard On-going maintenance
In the closing of the webinar, we will talk about the role of IT with respect to tasks such as applying periodic updates, user support, and more.
